I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel located just off the main road in the North Shore area. This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The staff were friendly and 

staff were very friendly,breakfast was excellent,rooms basic but very clean,sitting room downstairs was very nice with tv and a selection of board games.

The only downside is the hotel is quite far from main attractions but you can use the tram.

myself and my wife booked in for long weekend so she could see the light and found it easy to find and very clean and friendly not to far from all main attractions but far enough to have no noise breakfeast was
